Mousehole Harbour

'Mousehole Harbour' Oil on canvas board 30 x 30 cm
SOLD

I always enjoy going to Mousehole as the harbour is so picturesque, especially when the tide is out and there is sand showing. This is a beautiful little wooden boat that looked so cared for and loved!

  3. This is so inspiring to me! At the meeting I went to yesterday the speaker talked about how we each have different elements about a painting that really move us, more than some of the other elements. For her, it's color. She talked about how you can change the colors from what you actually see, to what you FEEL when you look at the subject. That was kind of an epiphany for me... Anyway, the reason I said that is because the blue of your water just pulls me right in, and the gentle colors of the boat and the bricks are very soothing. I don't know if I'm more moved by the color or the composition though. I love how the little boat is dwarfed by the huge expanse of water and bricks. I just LOVE everything about this painting!

  4. Hi, it's Matt from Twitter AKA Graphiterealism.

These are wonderful paintings. I love looking at pictures of glass and yours are no exception.

I was intrigued by your painting of Mousehole because I used to live in Mousehole and now live only 2 miles away from there in Newlyn. Such a picturesque village. Infact the whole of Cornwall has scenery, quaint villages and beautiful harbours which lend themselves perfectly to being painted.

    Great work.
