'In the Pink' SOLD
'In the Pink' Oils on Canvas Board (30x30cm) SOLD
Enjoyed painting something pink today! Have reworked the foreground and am much happier with it now! I liked the pink but it needed to be a bit more subtle and have some shading and highlights on it. Better I hope?
SOLD
love it. nice contrast to the blue... keep it! the painting is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGet rid of it. It is too 'heavy' and draws the eye away from the flower.
ReplyDeleteNow you have one on each side of the argument!!
I love the flower and its shadow on the wall. That is enough...no more is needed.
some color wash like the back ground - but not as much to add shadow and texture to the depth of the table. the flower is gorgeous and i love the background and shadow!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for your kind advice! I will have a good long look at it tomorrow and decide!
ReplyDeleteI love your boldness and confidence! If you want a fuschia pink foreground, then that's what this piece should have. Your artwork is a reflection of you, and nobody else! (By Golly.)
ReplyDeleteRegarding new foreground: Ooh! Very good! I love the reflection of the vase on the table. Excellent! You must have sensed all along that it wanted that... you just needed to process the idea and put it into action... I think the creative process works in very mysterious ways. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine! It has become a very happy, sunny piece of art now and I am very pleased with it! Thanks for your help! : )
